Troubles in Taber

I spent last weekend down in Taber, Alberta, a small town of about 8000 people about 2.5 hours from Calgary. The town has recently enacted a bylaw for swearing, spitting , large gatherings in public and a curfew for its minors. I shot the piece for Macleans Magazine and quickly discovered it was more than that is the problem. Local Mennonite teens gather every Sunday after church in the parking lot near the Tim Horton’s and Walmart and this is where the trouble begins. There seems to be a real division between the local residents and these church-going hard-working kids.  You can read the story here by: Rachel Browne – http://www.macleans.ca/news/canada/tabers-real-target-mennonites/
